About the Owner
Hi, I am Gus Kuehn. Not only am I the owner of Musical Moments, I am also an active DJ and avid fan of music. My enjoyment for music springs from a childhood listening to everything from Frank Sinatra and Johnny Cash to the Beatles and Michael Jackson. My love of and expertise in music continued to grow throughout my life while I also pursued a degree in Marketing Management.
In 1997, I combined my music and business expertise and founded Musical Moments out of a sincere desire to create a Minnesota-owned DJ company committed to personalized entertainment and customer service. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and the details make the difference, so I am involved in every aspect of my business. My favorite aspects of my job are sharing my love of music with others and interacting with my clients and DJs. I want every client to feel like they had a great experience from start-to-finish and every guest to have a memorable night.

We use the top music subscriptions, such as Promo Only, to ensure we get the newest music first. We have the largest music library in the Twin Cities giving you the most choice in music selection. Our DJs come equipped with 40,000 plus songs and use the newest computer software, such as Numark Cue.

About Our DJs
Musical Moments is proud to have a diverse staff of professional and experienced DJs. Our DJs come from a wide variety of backgrounds but they have a few important qualities in common. They are well-versed in a broad range of music genres. They are also experts in the art of reading a crowd and keeping the dance floor packed. Most importantly they are passionate about DJing and interacting with you and your guests. Whatever style or level of interaction you desire, we have the right DJ for you. Our DJs are trained through our apprenticeship program and work exclusively for Musical Moments. We have a very low turnover rate and we do not subcontract our shows to other DJ companies. Our DJs undergo a comprehensive apprenticeship and training program. Our commitment to training results in low DJ turnover. Our DJs experience shows through when you see that a large percentage of our shows come as referrals from satisfied clients.
